[Wyewood] Wyewood's Champions

Wyewood Champions- what an amazing amazing event. Every position in the 
court was fought for fiercely and well earned.

I am pleased to announce together the new champions of Wyewood-

Heavy combat- We are well pleased to have James Carreg O'Gywen return to 
the Wyewood court at champion. He and Squire Therin were hard tested in 
a round robin field of five. The finals, best 3 of 5 came down to 3-1, 
victory with the final fight (I made them finish the set, I'm tht kind 
of barones) with a final tally of 3-2.

Rapier combat- Warder Martyn Baxter was victorious against Gallant Don 
Donatello after completing a round against a broader field. The fights 
were beautiful and inspirational.

Archery- Victory went to Geoffry of the Reeds against Gervais Blakglove 
in a novelty shoot that would have had me tearing my hair out. In 
addition, during his timed round on a split target, a car alarm was 
going off. True grace and concentration under stress.

Arts and Sciences- The displays were so very very astounding. We are 
pleased to have Her Ladyship Adriana the Fierce stand as champion of 
Wyewood. She presented her handmade and painted board games.

Thrown Weapons- Claw took the victory! He muttered through the swearing 
in as champion, "Finally." We are pleased to have him join the court as 
our second Thrown Weapons champion.
