[Wyewood] Wyewood Dances! -- 3rd Thursday dance practice Sept 15

Greetings Wyewood

The 3rd Thursday dance practice for Wyewood is this week (already!).
As before, practice will be at my house Thursday evening, August 18, 
from 7 to 9 PM.

We do a variety of dances dances from England, France and Italy, ranging 
from the mid-1400's to the mid-1600's ... and a few SCA 
creations/favorites too.  We pick dances each evening based on the 
interests and abilities of those who attend.  Newcomers (to the SCA 
and/or to dancing) are always welcome.

For the next couple of months, we will be looking at dances that are 
likely to show up at the 12th Night Ball, and any requests we get for 
specific dances by Serjeantry candidates or others.  Bring your list of 
favorite dances and questions!

  Current COVID practices:
  • You may wear a mask or not, depending on your level of comfort around 
other people
  • Hand sanitizer will be available, since we often hold hands in dances
  • Current Kingdom policy will be followed.

An important note from the SCA: Although the SCA complies with all 
applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event 
participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious> 
diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person 
events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You 
agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety 
and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
