[Wyewood] Year's End Missive

Greetings Wyewood, Peace unto you and your halls!

It has been another hard year.  We know this.  There are empty seats at your hearths, there are fallow fields and works undone.  We see this pain and it pains us as well.

But all is not bleak, all is not darkness!  Heraldry of great beauty came to pass.  Pageantry is laid up for the future and it will be wondrous.  When the sun shown, our archers gathered safely and shot mightily, ranking, as is their wont, among the best in both the kingdom and the knowne worlde.  Our artisans cunningly wrought their crafts and produced great works that leave the eye astonied and the heart stirred.

We did not get to meet with most of you in person this year, and that did leave our hearts sore, but when possible we met you in the ether, and that did help.  We held our first ethereal court, and it shall not be the last of our courts, though we know not how many of those may be hosted in the ether.

Twelfth Night is coming!  We ask that those who can step forward and help us along with the people of Madrone to make a grand day for the kingdom.  We will be there lending our aid where we can as well.  If you cannot come, we truly understand.  There is no fault in this, these are still trying times.  Your saftey is paramount.

Even if your gains are small, they are gains.  We see you, we hear you, we support you.  No darkness lasts forever.  We are honored to serve the Crown and the fine people of Wyewood even in these trying times.  Our sword against your foes, our shield before your woes.  May St. Bubba watch over us all.
