Greetings, all.

We have a special Trio of FCS classes this Friday, with great potential for the always welcome largess in the already in process feast season. We hope to see many of you ready to get your creative juices flowing!

Lady Aurora will be teaching a simple kumihimo cord, making class. All materials will be provided and no fee is requested. It's a fairly quick class so you should be able to try out the other classes as well.

Lady Sybil: My class will be a quick and dirty how-to for the Medieval girdle book. Materials provided will include fabric and notions, needles and thread, marking supplies, etc. However, if you do want to bring favorite scraps of material, anything approximately 10"x20" will be sufficient. Also, any sort of "bling" you have in your stash, such as beads, sequins, trinkets, trims or ribbon, consider bringing it to decorate your book. The book can be made 100% from scratch, or you can use a partially-assembled blank to speed the process and enable you to learn more than one craft during our evening of classes. No fee is requested, and some pages of instructions/patterns will be available to take home as well if you are inspired to create further books at home. If you have bits or pieces of fabric or trims you'd be willing to part with, they would be useful for this class – for your use or to donate for others’ use!.

Lady Gwir is hosting a table to make royal string puppets for kids’ largesse. All supplies will be provided. No fee or crafty tendency is required. Each puppet will take about 10 minutes so you can try another largesse craft table as well.
