I am not a fan of a champion holding the position consecutive years. I have
no problem with every other year. It does help bring in fresh blood. Part
of the job is to run the tournament for their successor. That would include
deciding on format, promotion of the tournament and marshaling the field.
You cannot run the tournament and compete in the same. Of course,  there
may be extenuating circumstances.  (No competitors,  etc) These should be
decided by our B&B.
