[Wyewood] Minutes from July meeting

First off, I am clear that sending these out two weeks after the business meeting is not acceptable. I am altering my procedures such that these will go out with 48 hours of the monthly meetings.

Changes to these minutes: Wyewood Champions and the event prep has been moved. The event will be held on August 26th.

Barony of Wyewood business meeting – July 28, 2017
7:15 – 7:56 25 people in attendance

Officer Reports:
Herald


·       Consulting is being done. Submissions are being tracked – some to the next level of LoAR and some recently submitted.

Marshal – Archery


·       Archery continues to be well attended, with 15+ regularly attending.  Some range maintenance has been done. Thrown weapons has been happening thanks to Geoffrey.

Marshal – Rapier


·       No injuries to report, no broken blades. Marshall will be MIC at Honey War so practice has been cancelled.

Arts and Sciences


·       Activities have been happening and are scheduled through the end of the year.
Culinary will be starting up again at the monthly Project Days
Fiber nights are the 1st Thursday of each month
Scribal is happening – Alamanda will send announcements to the email list and FB

Chatelaine


·       I have had 3 newcomer inquiries to the Chatelaine email this month of which one is a relocation from the Kingdom of Caid.

·       There has been at least 1 Facebook request for garb for Honey War this weekend, but nothing has been asked from Gold Key.

·       Checking acct = $9924.18  Savings acct = $11725.16

·       Nothing to Report


Baronage


·       A = attending HW on Saturday. Will attend SOK, Autumn War (AW)
We have been contacted by the incipient Barony of Wildwood and they would love to be our sister barony.

·       E = attending AW on Sunday. We will have a Master Gordon Redthorn remembrance at Champions

Seneschal


·       We have Feb 17, 2018 reserved. We are seeking an event bid.

·       Geoffrey of the Reeds has applied to be Web Minister and been accepted by Their Excellencies.
