[Wyewood] Emprise of the Black Lion & Archery Competitions

Greetings archers!

Emprise is coming soon, just 15 days (yes I have the countdown going.)

Tymme and I will be helping Madrone for this event and we are planning for
two days of archery.
York Round
Novelties will include:
Wand
Falling Leaves seasonal shoot
Tibetan Target
Rings
Lucky Shoot

Sunday will have:
Clout Round
Roving Stump Shoot
Royal Round
Combat arrow flight shoot (because it's silly)

In addition to a bunch of novelty shoots we will be offering there is the
archery champion tournament for the barony of Madrone
Archos August Konker, outgoing archery champion of Madrone, has been
consulted about the format and I can guarantee the format will be
challenging and fun.
There will be a target portion but knowing August it will not be anything
normal.
Once the field has been narrowed down the will be a dancing target shoot
that will be a one on one challenge.
Remember Weeble and Bob, the combat archery speed target?  August made his
own and will be providing combat bows and arrows for the finals.  I tried
it last night and it is a definite challenge.
The winner will be invested as the next baronial champion with all rights
and responsibilities due a champion of Madrone.
