[Wyewood] Archery Recap for 9/5/16

Ack I hate when I send something by mistake and cannot seem to find a way
to UnSend!

Equipment Failure: My crossbow prod broke while spanning it at 40 yards.
Snapped right in the center (normally on either side of the body.  No one
was injured because of this.
Minor Injury: Newer archer Saya had a Cabela's carbon arrow's shaft
fracture upon release and drove a sliver of the shaft into her hand.  Avine
removed most of it and Saya went home to treat it.  Truly surprising it
would fracture like that and how the length removed.

Archer of the Day: Elias Hart
Wait until you meet this young man.  Courteous, friendly, great listener
and rises to the challenge.  At 9 years old the max yardage is 20 yards and
he chose to spent most of his time there as it was the most challenging.
It was a pleasure to work with him and I hope he and his father Justin come
back again soon!
