[Wyewood] Thrown Weapons Report for 4/18/15

It was a beautiful day!  I had a steady stream of throwers both experienced and new come over to the thrown weapons range yesterday.  Thanks to Dearbhail for loaning her spear and for helping me set up and to everyone else who helped tear down; it was much appreciated!

Four people submitted thrown weapons royal rounds (20 throws each with knife, axe and spear), scores follow.  I'll give the total and then subtotals for knife, axe and spear after:

Tristan - 105 (18, 48, 39)Dearbhail - 55 (12, 21, 22)Tomas - 74 (29, 31, 14)Nathaniel - 126 (41, 53, 32)
Spear only:
Rurik - 24
I will be inputting these scores as soon as I can access the scores site which seems to be down at the moment. 

If Wyewood had more rounds stands and cut the available rounds in half to deploy on them, more scores could be submitted as the single round we can currently use means only one person can throw either knife or axe at a time.  I need assistance in getting the available rounds cut in half and in getting stands for same made.

     Today 34 people signed the sheets for a perfect day of archery with the sun out but not too hot yet!  That's right, 34, for a practice. :-)  Makes a new Chief Archer proud to see these numbers.But the best part was seeing everyone having a great time!  Shooting, throwing or throwing down amongst the rapier fighters, comraderie was had by all.  One archer came to the range a little low but after many hugs, time on the line, achieving a personal best and the discovering the addictive power of the crossbow they left positively giddy!  Good times.And we spread Wyewood's word fame further with three Geese travelling down to Glymm Mere for marshaling training followed by some great scores down there too.  Well done Daffyd, Wulfwyn and Tymme!
