I am sorry if I misunderstood. I was in a rather unhappy place on Saturday, and may not have seen you. I did not stay at the event long, though I did talk to the Baron and Baroness about my worry at possibly losing the site if it were not signed for. If I have over stepped, I apologize.
I will have all the proper paperwork at the FCS on the 27th.
Vilda

Vilda,
The original vote at the meeting in August was just the populace saying "yes, we are interested in having this event". A formal event bid MUST be presented at a business meeting and agreed upon by the populace. That bid must include all pertinent financial information about the cost of the event. When we spoke after the meeting and I signed the date request form for the kingdom calendar I did tell you that you would need to present your bid at the next meeting which is on the 27th of this month. The FCS that would have happened on the Friday before the Emprise would not have been a valid option for signing off on anything because we would not have been holding a business meeting.
Who signed off on you reserving the site? Did this happen on Friday evening or on Saturday? Because I was on site all day Saturday and no one approached me about this.
I am glad to hear that Matillis has agreed to be your mentor.

I had thought that it was voted that I go forward with the plans for Yule, but as Amy's message below states, there must be another Business Meeting to approve before saying whether or not we have an event. I responded around 2pm, as one can see from the time stamp, but it did get me thinking that perhaps I had misunderstood the original vote.

At the Emprise, I brought my paperwork, expecting there to be a meeting, but it didn't happen, so I corralled people as best I could, so I could get the site signed for before we lost it to someone else..
