[Officers] Exchequer Report

Please note that I will not be able to stay for very long at the meeting 
(out-of-town guests arriving Friday night).  So I would appreciate that 
anyone in need of cheques (for reimbursements or other reasons), get me 
your cheque request before the meeting begins, and I will try to have 
things written and signed up before I have to leave.

Exchequer Report – August 24, 2018

Attendance for Champions was 78 adults, 4 youth or children.  Total 
event site fee collected (excluding the non-member registration): $546.  
Additional $270 was received in payment for lunch (by the way, 
outstanding lunch spread).  All expenditures have yet to be tallied, 
however it looks as though the event broke-even, or even made a few 
bucks.  Nice job everyone, and special thank you to the gate crew.

As of the June 30 quarterly report, the barony had cash in bank of 
$21,144.  There have been a few outgoing expenditures in July 
(reimbursements, storage rental, deposit on event site, etc.), so 
currently the Barony sits at a little over $19 K in cash in bank.
Upcoming event stewards/autocrats … please plan ahead for any cash needs 
(gate changes, advances, etc.), and be sure to get together with me well 
in advance of your event to discuss your plans for gate, gate 
reconciliation, and cash stewardship until such time as you can turn $$$ 
over to me and thus into the bank.
