>From a gate perspective, the bid with the fee structure of $10 gate and $10 feast makes it easier to manage making change at the door. And since it has minimal impact based on the numbers, I think the headaches it saves would be worth it.

Thank you all for helping me learn this process. And I want to thank Avine for all her work getting the bid ready while I planned and executed my company's annual convention last weekend.

I'm quite happy to follow whatever processes the officers feel is best. I am comfortable presenting but appreciate the opportunity to transact by email where I can better consult with Avine and provide thoughtful answers. I am attaching the bid and the agreement for the community center. Also the An Tir Event form that I think I need assistance with.

I will be at the FCS tonight if there are any questions.

M'lady Gwir, I leave it to your discretion as to how you want to present things. I believe she was trying to be mindful of stress levels and suggesting an alternative method of fulfilling our customary item "13.2.1) All event proposals shall be received by the Wyewood Council. Copies shall be made available to the populace upon request." To follow our Customary this should be sent to all of the officers as well as the Seneschal and Coronet. There is Nothing in our Customary indicating a required time frame (i.e, must be presented at two meetings). And to continue to follow our Customary any gaps in the proposal (not that I foresee any) would cause the bid to be returned for correction. It would be resubmitted to the Council (aka Officers & Coronet). "13.2.3) The Seneschal shall announce to the Branch who has made proposals." This can be done during the open Business meeting. She is recommending that this happen in August. 13.2.4) The Coronet shall make the final decision on events. The Coronet should solicit opinions from the Wyewood Council and Populace of Wyewood on event proposals." This can be done during the open Business meeting. She is recommending that this happen in August. We solicit questions, ask for a vote, but ultimately the decision belongs to the B&B. Everyone - Please assume positive intentions. Feel free to let me know if a statement I have made above is incorrect.
