I believe she was trying to be mindful of stress levels and suggesting an alternative method of fulfilling our customary item "13.2.1) All event proposals shall be received by the Wyewood Council. Copies shall be made available to the populace upon request." To follow our Customary this should be sent to all of the officers as well as the Seneschal and Coronet. There is Nothing in our Customary indicating a required time frame (i.e, must be presented at two meetings). And to continue to follow our Customary any gaps in the proposal (not that I foresee any) would cause the bid to be returned for correction. It would be resubmitted to the Council (aka Officers & Coronet). "13.2.3) The Seneschal shall announce to the Branch who has made proposals." This can be done during the open Business meeting. She is recommending that this happen in August. 13.2.4) The Coronet shall make the final decision on events. The Coronet should solicit opinions from the Wyewood Council and Populace of Wyewood on event proposals." This can be done during the open Business meeting.
