attend.  I ask that branch officers please attend if at all possible, as we have paperwork to complete this month.

Exchequer interview: Lady Matillis was interviewed and it is the intent of the officers to recommend her to Kingdom as the new branch Exchequer.Shade options: Opened the discussion on how to provide more shade to the populace in support of their activities during the outdoor event season.November / December  business meeting options: The normal business meetings fall right at the holidays.  Looking into rescheduling.Branch status poll: Preparing for the close of the poll.

Contingent Seneschal: Lord Tomas has concluded his Tour of Duty as Contingent Seneschal.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tomas for his dedication in serving the branch these past few years.  With this opening, I would like to propose a realignment of this position and how it works.  Wyewood has a peculiar process for the Contingent Seneschal position that is not well understood by most.  My proposal would be to change the position to behave similarly to the Contingent Exchequer position.  Final approval will be sought at the Wyewood Business meeting on 10/28.Baronial bid process: The poll results are in, and Wyewood now has the green light to pursue a formal Baronial bid.  As such, I will be discussing the mechanics and timing of the bid.  Also included in this business item will be proceeding with authoring the Customary and revising the Financial
 Policy.

OFFICER ROTATION FOR FCS

I
 would like to thank the officers and those gentles attending FCS for 
being diligent in putting stuff away and cleaning up.  You all make it a
 painless and quick effort!  
FCS Officer
     Rotation.  Be aware of responsibility. Be at the FCS site at least
     fifteen minutes early to help with setup. Stay until cleanup is
     done.  If you can't be there on your scheduled date, let the
     Seneschal know and try to trade with someone else.  Keys to the Great Hall are provided by either the Seneschal or the Chatelaine.
