[Officers] A question for the officers

Lord Tymme:

It is indeed very generous of you to consider the branch for such a need.  If the opportunity for a projector should come about, I do believe it would be a most welcome asset to the branch.  The laptops and desktops - I think these would be harder to leverage.  If we were a non-profit that had a regularly staffed office (say a church or charity), these would be greatly utilized.  Perhaps another one of you could make a case that I currently am not considering?

Officers, I have a question for you.  Given that the SCA is a non-profit, my work is willing to donate computer equipment.  There may or may not still be a projector, there are usually laptops and desktops.  Typically, they are Dell.

So, I guess the questions would be:  Does the branch have a use for them?

If so, is the need enough to bother with?

(in other words, if, say, we had 2 loaner laptops for officers to do quarterly reports on if they don't have a computer, is it worth it for storage and securing them to have them around to be used once every few months...)

Please provide feedback.
