April Officer Meeting Minutes

April 12, 2010



Officer’s Meeting Began: 7:06pm



Please note the next officer’s meeting is May 10 at the KENT Library at
7:00pm.





Officer Reports:

* All officers must turn in a monthly report to the Seneschal by the 15th of
each month.  All officers must turn in a quarterly report of Jan 1-March 31
by May 1.  Any officer not doing this could be replaced per the Kingdom
Seneschal.

* The new Rapier Marshal is Ulrich effective – April 12.

* Esclarmonde is the new Chatelain effective – April 12.

* The Chronicler needs a replacement by the end of June.

* If you are an officer and your term of office is expiring, please find a
replacement.

* Robert was trying to get a deputy, but Mir just became Kingdom Chirurgeon.

* A&S – Elisabeth will be sending a message to the list for everyone to send
in any projects you have worked on in the last three months.  Also, two
Wyewoodians were judges for the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Championship.

* Webmaster – there was a spam e-mail that got through, but 200 were
stopped.

* Gold Key – There is Gold Key at the FCS site.

* Exchequer  - Reviewing how to do reports.   Will meet with Miranda to go
over them.

* Chronicler – I’ve done minutes at the Business Meeting and Officer’s
meetings and they’ve all been posted to the appropriate lists.



Past Events:  Hoppin Phules

* There was a good showing of Wyewoodians – The Fyrd attended with Alec,
Finoodles, Symonne, Constantine, Rasmus and Kristi and families.  Cire came
and played too.  For the archers were Tomas, Daffyd, Wulfwyn, John,
Dearbhail, Evrard, Tag and Agustus.

* Dragonwing – The Fyrd used the dragnonwing for the first time at Hopping
Phules.  It works  great.  Easy to put up, nice and large for a big group of
people.  It was also put away carefully and all materials were gathered back
up.   The Fyrd had a few suggestions 1) paint the number of the stakes on
the outside of the bag so they don’t get missed.  2) paint the tops of the
spikes a bright color. 3) Purchase extra stakes and have them with the
dragonwing, so someone doesn’t get to the site and not have enough
stakes.  (Maybe
in Saran Wrap, so you know when they’ve been broken into.

* Dragon’s Laire Ithra went really well.  Elisabeth and Esclarmonde taught
classes.  Dietrich and John attended as well.



Wyewood Champion’s:

* Champion’s Tournament will be July 24.  We will have the champions tourney
in the morning at the Archery site followed by a harvest feast at the Des
Moines FCS site.  The menu is in the planning stage.  If you would like to
assist, contact Wulfwyn or Elin.













Upcoming events:

* Emprise of the Black Lion – It is confirmed that Elisabeth will be
assisting with Heralding that day.  They want to use this event as a
demo.  They
will be teaching classes on Sunday.  They need a Feastocrat and a
Parkingocrat.  We should bring our Dragonwing.



Old Business

* Please send Beleg all updates for the Website.  They need to be ready to
cut and paste to the website.



New Business:

* The Chronicler will not be at the April 23 Business Meeting and
Esclarmonde offered to take the minutes.
