"Hello, Good Gentles!

The SCA was invited to run a demo booth at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire the weekends of July 26-27, Aug 2-3, Aug 9-10, and we are looking for people to volunteer their time for a day or two or even a whole weekend at a time!

There will be no fighting demo at the Faire (maybe in the future?), so this is strictly a demonstration & education -focused demo.

We will have a 30x30 space to demonstrate various arts & sciences; engage with the Faire-goers; lead some crafts projects with the kids; promote our amazing Society; and teach a class or two!

We will be given free entry and free camping (and perhaps a meal perk, if I can help it! :[)

Are you interested in participating?

Please fill out the form, letting us know which day(s) or weekend(s) you prefer, what you might demonstrate to the public, or what classes you might be interested in teaching.

While not everyone will need to demo or teach something in order to participate, we would like to give priority to folks who can, as our Faire friends have asked us to be as interactive and engaging as possible.

Load-in for camping and setup will happen Friday evenings after 5pm.
Faire runs from 10am-7pm Saturday & Sunday.
