[Wyewood] Wyewood monthly dance practice THIS THURSDAY

Greetings Wyewood and dance friends:

The Barony of Wyewood's dance practice is THIS WEEK on Thursday, 
December 18; that's right, it is Third Thursday this month, not Fourth 
Thursday.

  Practice runs from 7-9 PM, and takes place at my home in the Northwest 
part of Kent.  If interested in attending, please contact me by email or 
phone (253-905-1483), and I will send you address, directions, etc.

At dance practice, we do a variety of dances from English, French and 
Italian sources, ranging from the mid 1400's to mid 1600's.  Dances will 
be selected based on the interest and ability of those attending ... and 
the whim of the instructor(s).

This month we will look at dances of the Holiday Season and those set 
for the 12th Night Ball (January 2026). Non dancers are welcome to come 
and visit, watch, gossip, or what-have-you. There will be cookies.

In general, people tend to wear modern clothing for practice, but feel 
free to wear garb if you would like. Comfortable, non-grip shoes are 
recommended.
