[Wyewood] Project day - August 10th - Glen Brook Cabana

What a successful project day! We strung award necklaces, painted charters and glasses, and worked on garb and pavilion ropes. We are looking good for Wyewood Martial Champions next month.

Greetings to all!

On Sunday, August 10th, starting at 10 AM, we will be hosting a project day at the Glen Brook Cabana.  We are planning on working on assembling award necklaces, and (hopefully) some charter painting.  If you have other projects you wish to work on, please bring them as well.  The cabana has padded folding chairs. Bring a comfortable chair if you think you will need one. There is a kitchen and a fridge, feel free to bring noshies to fortify yourself (and others).

Cabana Address is 27456 150th Ave SE

>From Downtown Kent:

Find Smith St/ SR 516 and head East (up the hill)

Turn Right onto 152nd, approximately 5 miles from downtown Kent. (Chevron Station, a Spa store, Weatherly Inn, and a drive through espresso)

Turn Right onto 275th (first right after you turn onto 152nd)

Turn Right onto 151st (at the “T”)

Turn Left onto 150th. The Cabana is on the Left next to the basketball court. There is parking in front of it. Please be courteous to the residents and park in the unmarked stalls. There are 2 stalls in front of and reserved for the mail kiosk. Do not park there, please.  There are also some RESERVED stalls.  Don't park there either.  There is additional guest parking in the complex, so if the parking by the Cabana is full, let us know and we'll direct you.

>From Highway 18:

Heading East or West on SR 18 take the 516/ Covington exit (SE 272nd/ Kent-Kangley Rd.)

Turn West onto SE 272nd.

Turn Left onto 152nd

Turn Right onto 275th (first right after you turn onto 152nd)

Turn Right onto 151st (at the “T”)
