[Wyewood] Announcement regarding the Order of the Gray Goose Shaft

Hear now the words of the Crown:
"Dearest Populace-
His Majesty and I have spent a lot of hours thinking and talking about how to best honor the Order of the Grey Goose while moving forward and making room for the amazing new Peerage.
We first- would like to thank all of you who posted, wrote and spoke with us in person about your preferences, concerns, heartache, joy and thoughts. We hope that our decision reflects the gravitas of that trust you're placed within Us.
Based on the feedback We've received, We have decided the best way to keep alive the heightened honor and reputation of this order, beyond the normal Grant of Arms, we will close this Order as it is, upon the inception of the first member of the new Peerage.
In order to continue good and worthy recognition of folks in this field, we would like to create of a new Grant of Arms award for this pillar.
We would like to make it clear that we do not expect Our Geese to give up their regalia, as it has existed in this group for years. We would like to however gently suggest a small addition to their bracers- to help differentiate from the new Order and memorialize their standing as Geese of An tir- The addition of a row of Or and Argent Cheque along one edge.
Regarding Arcarii- We would continue to encourage OGGS members to take on and teach those students. Students are taken across the known world by Proteges, Squires, Apprentices, Cadets and even those without a peer relationship- and so we see no reason this should be affected.
We also recognize that this announcement of the new Peerage and it's timeline came on very suddenly and without a lot of warning. We are therefore minded to allow this order to wrap up their business as it were- including a few more recognitions for those folks who were being considered but just waiting on paperwork and the like.
We will be working with the secretary of this order to poll for some proposed dates for one final meeting of this Order with us.
Please watch for those recognitions to be announced soon, as well as the information for the new proposal for the Grant of Arms for our ranged combatants.
