Light attendance because of so many things going on for the summer.
Spent most of the evening in the 15th Century. First Master Trahaearn
and I geeked out on the Italian dance Gratioso, from around 1460 or so.
Then three of us played with two reconstructions of Eglamowr, de tribus,
from the English Gresley source, circa 1500, and then did Vita di
Cholino, also for 3 and also from around 1460-1480 After a break for
refreshments, ended the evening with Contrapasso in Due from 1581.
Thoroughly fun evening of dancing and consulting the sources to find out
what a "german salterello" might be.
:) :) :)
