"His Excellency and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the
former Baroness of Blatha an Oir, Elspeth Nic Grath, OP last night of
injuries she suffered in an accident earlier in the year. 

Baroness Elspeth was a strong, dependable, and above all kind leader who
welcomed people to her Barony and the Kingdom with an open heart. She played
this game joyfully and with a focus on people and service that was an
example to all who knew her. 

Our hearts are with all who mourn her today, and we ask you to honor her
memory by being #KindLikeElspeth to those around you in the SCA.
