[Wyewood] June Local Arts and Sciences opportunities

Greetings Wyewood!  I’d like to share with you two excellent local arts opportunities this month.

First, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting an A&S Tent salon at our own Day of Archery this weekend so feel free to join the fun!  Anyone interested in trying out hand spinning or luceting, I’ll be giving lessons and have loaners tools for the day.  Or just sit, socialize, and talk projects in a relaxed environment.

Second, on June 24 Madrone will be hosting Athenaeum.  This is a yearly event for artisans to display and receive feedback in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

If anyone is interested in exhibiting, please let me know if there is any way I can assist you, even if it’s just making sure that you stay fed and watered!  I have a few years of experience at Athenaeum so I’m familiar with what to expect.

If you aren’t exhibiting, it’s a great event to see a wonderful variety of artisans and their crafts and just get your geek on!  Inspiration abounds!
