[Wyewood] Call for nominations - Hnored Marshal

Greetings Wyewood,
I'd like to take a moment to talk about a specific recognition that is
currently calling for recommendations. The Honored Marshal is something that
is not very well known and often gets overlooked. I believe it is modeled on
the Dragon's Laire honored marshal that has been awarded for many years
within their barony. This recognition is open to marshals of all
disciplines.

"HONORED MARSHAL NOMINATIONS Wanted by May 12th -- Each May Crown the An Tir
martial community recognizes one of its own for their dedication and
high-quality performance of crucial work which allows others to enjoy the
martial activities which are a vital part of the SCA. This is an honor for
that individual, and also a symbol of the labor so many volunteers
contribute in ways the populace may not always see. The recognition of
Kingdom Honored Marshal is open to marshals in ALL disciplines and skill
levels, and anywhere in our Kingdom. We are looking for a consistent
volunteer who loves marshaling, increasing their own skills, supporting the
combatants, and encouraging others to get involved. (Note: regional,
principality, and Kingdom officers are not eligible while they are in that
role, but can be nominated after they step down.) Please send your
suggestions BY FRIDAY MAY 12TH to [earlmarshal (at) antir.org]. Include the
person's branch so we can verify if they are onsite or who can accept it on
