[Wyewood] October business and Financial meeting

Here (attached & pasted below) is report on A&S Dance activities in 
Wyewood.

Wyewood Arts & Sciences Report – Dance
October 2022

Dance practice attendance has  been building since we started up last 
spring.  October’s practice saw six participants for 3rd Thursday 
practice.  At this rate, we will soon need to find a new venue other 
than my living room!

Focus lately has been on examples from all 7 of the basic eras/sources 
for period dance, and dances likely to come up for serjeantry 
candidates.  With, of course, time set-aside each time for people’s 
favorite dances.

Focus for November (17th) and December (15th) will be on dances from the 
12th Night Ball set-list.  There will be some new dances this year.

Local dance enthusiasts are looking to hold another “Big Regional Dance 
Practice” on a Saturday or Sunday this Fall.  The last one was hostedlst 
Spring by Porte de l’Eau.  I was hoping that we could host a Fall 
practice here in Wyewood.  The county libraries are open again for their 
meeting room use, and it would not be a financial cost to the barony to 
hold a Saturday or Sunday practice in one of the local county libraries. 
  The last one we hosted (about 3 years ago?), we used the meeting room 
of the Maple Valley library.
