Kingdom Arts & Science and Rapier Championships – A Court Report for the Reign of King Sven and Queen Rauokinn
Her Majesty Rauokinn Eyverska Starradottir attended the Kingdom Arts & Science/Kingdom Rapier Championships hosted by the Barony of Wastekeep. Her Majesty and several attendees enjoyed the beautiful decorations and splendor of the event. The event was well attended and there were so many competitors in both Championships that it was impossible to see every entrant fight and/or present.
Friday evening Her Majesty and the Barony of Wastekeep welcomed the attending populace and it was announced that Athenaeum (an An Tir A&S Display and Presentation Event hosted by the Barony of Madrone) is scheduled for July 9, 2022.
Her Majesty conducted the following pieces of business during Friday Court:
Droston Thomas was awarded Arms (Awards of Arms)
Ásbiorn Esbjornson was awarded Arms (Awards of Arms)
Aryana Silknfyre was awarded a Forget-me-Not
Tierzah nic Cathal was awarded a Forget-me-Not
Reginleif in harfagra was awarded a Forget-me-Not.
Melissa of Dalmatia was awarded a Jambe de Lion
Decimus Varius Felix was awarded a Carp
Gareth Hyre was awarded a Jambe de Lion
Kurobayashi Tarou Akahito was awarded a Grace of An Tir
Rowenna de Manning was awarded a Lion’s Strength
On Saturday morning Her Majesty reminded the populace of the charity Auction at the event benefiting the Edmonton Zebra Centre and Tree House Vancouver. Her Majesty graciously thanked Baroness Zahra of Aquaterra for her instrumental efforts in putting together the charity auction.
Her Majesty also oversaw the induction of the new Dexter Gauntlet and Argent Scroll Heralds.
At separate intervals, Her Majesty welcomed both Arts & Sciences and Queens Rapier Championship entrants and requested their oaths to uphold the duties of champion, should they be victorious.

Adelheide Leeuwin was awarded a Forget-me-Not
Kaaren Hakonsdottir was awarded a Forget-me-Not
Dagrun Stjarna was awarded a Forget-me-Not
Luna Francesca di Marco Lupi was awarded a Jambe de Lion
Dagrun Stjarna was placed on Vigil for the Order of the Pelican
Gabriella Marguerite Simonetti Rucellai was placed on Vigil for the Order of the Laurel
Gregorio Cristovalez de la Vega was placed on Vigil for the Order of Defense
Her Majesty spent her Saturday watching hopefuls compete to become her Rapier Champion. She also toured entrants’ A&S displays and listened to presentations.
Her Majesty also convened court on Saturday evening and accepted fealty from members of the peers and populace who had not previously done so. She also accepted and exchanged largesse and thanked judges, marshals and list personnel.

Alessandra Lorenza di Martini d’Simonetti was placed on Vigil for the Order of the Laurel
Khanzara of Samarqand was elevated to the Order of the Laurel
Michael Leyland Sinclaire was placed on Vigil for the Order of the Pelican
Marya Kargashina was offered and immediately elevated to the Order of the Pelican
Additionally, Her Majesty’s Arts & Sciences Minister, Mistress Sigridis Gala Eiriksdottir, announced Scholars of AnTir (any A&S entrant receiving a score of 80% or better on their entry) and the winner of the Sable Bonnet (highest scoring entry):

On Sunday morning Her Majesty listened to finalists Þóra Jórsalafari and Gareth Hyre present their highest scoring entries before the court and populace. Judges and Her Majesty took a brief reprieve to discuss both entrants before reconvening court. Her Majesty thanked the event steward and staff for a wonderful event. She also thanks the A&S Minister and judges for their work over the course of the weekend. Her Majesty invited the previously announced Scholars of An Tir and the Sable Bonnet winner to attend her and receive a token representing their awards.
