[Wyewood] Wyewood Dances! -- Aug 18 - 3rd Thursday dance practice

Hello again Wyewood -

The 3rd Thursday dance practice for Wyewood folk is coming up again this 
week.
As before, practice will be at my house Thursday evening, August 18, 
from 7 to 9 PM.
Take a break from Autumn War preparations and come dance!

We do a variety of dances ranging from the mid-1400's to the mid-1600's,
dances from England, France and Italy, ... and a few SCA creations and 
favorites too.
We pick dances each evening based on the interests and abilities of 
those who attend.
Newcomers (to the SCA and/or to dancing) are always welcome.

Bring your questions!  Some of the most fun practices here and up in 
Port de l'Eau lately have involved questions that make us run to the 
"stacks" to look them up.  Geek-type fun.

Current COVID practices:
• You may wear a mask or not, depending on your level of comfort around 
other people
• Hand sanitizer will be available, since we often hold hands in dances
• Current Kingdom policy will be followed.


An important note from the SCA: Although the SCA complies with all 
applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of our event 
participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious 
diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person 
events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You 
agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety 
and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
