[Wyewood] Event Cancellation: Champions

Unto the Good People of Wyewood and An Tir from the hands for Alarich, Barun von Wyewood and Aline his Baroness do these mournful greetings come.

In consultation with our officers, stewards, and with the wisest doctors and physics of the land, it has been determined that it will likely still not be safe to gather in great numbers for Wyewood's annual Champions event. We had hoped it would be otherwise, but we are continuing to follow the guidance of state officials on when we may gather, and the projections for our fair Barony put that time still some ways yet off. Therefore, the event, scheduled August 15th, is hereby cancelled for 2020.

We are deeply grateful for the work the event stewards and the officer team had done. And we are also grateful for our current Champions who have agreed to continue their service until such time as we may hold the event again. We could not ask for finer representatives of Wyewood.

We hope the time comes soon when we may welcome guests into our lands, gather with our beloved populace, and make merry.
