I apologize for the tardiness, but here are the May Business meeting minutes.

Business meeting minutes

May 22nd, 2020

Meeting taking place via Zoom Meetings



-Seneschal opens, welcomes everyone.



Seneschal report; given by Maestra Rosa

-Some things to go over:

  *   Seneschal is looking for a replacement, term coming up soon. Johanna is considering and is a potential candidate.
  *   Reminder that all events and socials are closed till July 31st and/or till further notice.
  *   When opening starts up again, may have to start tracking people for small groups.
  *   Crown extension to Sept. Crown from BOD’s then will have to request again if needed.



-Looking for event steward and info for Sept event’s if able

-Archery- Jon mowed field

-Looking for potential marshal online events



Exchequer report: given by Gwir

  *   Reported financials to stay active-1st quarter sent and submitted.
  *   No transactions and interest did occur; .34 cents increase in checking, $1.05 in savings.

  1.  Checking- $3988.86
  2.  Savings- $12791.49

  *   2 checks are still outstanding from St. Bubba Feast of March 2019
  *   Updated financial policy to Kingdom and Society: pay pal added
  *   Offering refunds for feast of St. Bubbas, no requests yet but are still available if requested
  *   Church was paid 6 months in advanced prior to covid shutdown. Will address later if we still want to donate to the church while no using for showing good faith during hardship. Also, would like to come back and use the church when socials and meetings can happen. Will discuss at next open financial business meeting-to happen soon.



A&S report: given by Sofia

  *   A&S zoom videos happening but still no attendees
  *   Scribal war had two contestants from our barony

  1.  Mir
  2.  Heather

  *   Artemisia offering embroidery and nalbinding classes virtually
  *   Will try and find other classes out there other than Facebook based.
  *   BAO offering sewing night virtual social on Monday nights
  *   Heraldry stuff being worked on


Baroness report: given by Baroness Aline

  *   Not much happening with covid shutdown, just working
  *   Reminder that Maestra Rosa is offering sewing socials via Zoom, Saturday mornings.
  *   Another FCS virtual social will happen in June-hope to see people attend



-Need to make meeting/social links more available for people to find.



-Argents badge ready.



**Baroness misses everyone. It’s been an interesting year and is enjoying every moment as Baroness.
