To the Kindom of An Tir
As many of you may know by now, We have recently received the notification
from the Board of Directors on a decision to cancel all event activities
throughout the SCA, for the majority of active Kingdoms, through January
2021.
This was following a joint petition from the greater numbers of the sitting
Crowns of the Knowne World, supporting and urging the BOD to take this
action.
We believe this is the best direction to be taken, given the uncertainty and
nature of this health concern facing us, and this decision sits heavy on Our
hearts.
We assure you that if given a reasonable opportunity to safely resume, We
are committed to leading Our Kingdom down the safest and most stable means
to a thoughtful successful return.
Until that time, We have seen unprecedented success with online activities,
community connectivity and engagements that have blossomed into wonderful
new ways to take part in our communities at home.
We want to encourage these excellent forms of events and showcase them for
all to see.
They work poured into these activities is astounding, and the vision if the
people behind them is something We are immensely proud of.
They show a versatility and foreword approach that reaches across all
barriers to maintain this beautiful world that we all love to be a part of.
Please look to the upcoming online activities and the information on how you
can take part and enjoy these new and exciting activities.
In these times, We hope you all remain safe and healthy, and take care of
each other.
Our strength is in our people, and there is no Kingdom greater than the
people of An Tir.
We love you all, and look forward to interacting remotely as best We can.
