Unto our beloved populace of Wyewood and our friends and neighbors of An Tir, Barun Alarich and Baroness Aline send our heartfelt greetings,


Word has come to us from the Board of Directors that all in person gatherings for the SCA shall be suspended through January 31st, 2021 in an effort to combat the continuing spread of the plague. While it is hard to be separated from all of you for so long, We support the Board of Directors in this ruling and in the continuing efforts of our people to help stop this infernal pestilence.


As such, we are cancelling the rescheduled Feast of St. Bubba, rescheduled for October 31, 2020. All prepaid reservations will be refunded. We thank the hard work of our event team and our officers in trying the reschedule this event, and we are sad we will not see it come to fruition this year. We hope that we may come together again after the plague has passed to celebrate it in its full glory.


We are also aware that this has implications for Wyewood and Madrone's team effort to host 12th Night 2020. The event team is aware of this dictate and is working with Kingdom to reach out to the Crown and to site and determine options. We trust them and will communicate updates as they are available.


In the meantime, we invite you to please keep attending virtual activities such as No Contact Zoom Socials, classes, Populace Meeting, and more. We love and miss you all greatly, and we fervently wish for the day we may all gather again.
