[Wyewood] Wyewood We Wait! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The "Wyewood We Not?" virtual event is coming up very quickly and we need
hosts for activities. Hafþóra Krístna, my co-steward, and I have decided to
start with a small window and build from there as we have commitments of
participation.

This is new territory and it's not an event where people can just jump in
to serve when they get onsite. If we don't have gentles committed before
that night, and really at least a week before, the event can't happen. We
have to know who's committed to hosting to literally plan the
infrastructure of the event. AKA: We can't lay out an Eric before we even
know if there will be fighting. (Obviously we won't have fighting...but if
you wanted to teach a martial class I'm sure Hafpora would be glad to hear
from you.)

I am coordinating the Saturday evening social activities from 7:00-10:00
and Hafþóra is coordinating some afternoon classes from 4:00-6:00.

I am asking people to volunteer to run a "room" from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm on
Saturday night. You don't have to do it the whole three hours alone -
schedule shifts or whatever works for you. But we do need it manned for the
full three hours and by two people (one to monitor engagement and one to
monitor waiting rooms and chat.)

We are hoping to have up to three rooms at a time, depending on support and
volunteers. From 7:00-10:00 it might be a campfire chat, a bardic circle, a
games room, a YAFA/youth room.... What do you want to see? This is your
event so let us know your thoughts and what you can do to help make them
happen!

Please email me if there's something you'd like to see either as a class
from 4:00-6:00 or as a social gathering from 7:00-10:00 and how you will be
able to help make that happen!

This is going to be wonderful and we look forward to working together!
