[Wyewood] St Bubba's postponed

Thank you for this notice.  I know it's not easy to make these decisions as it requires a lot of people to change their plans: feast food had been prepared and now has to be stored or replaced, deposits are often non-refundable, and the sergeantry candidates were all psyched up to present their knowledge.  However, the safety of our community should be the priority, and moving the event means people don't have to choose between missing the event and driving in conditions they aren't comfortable in or are outright unsafe.  Thank you.

Greetings Members and Friends of Wyewood.

Due to the weather forecast and concerns for people's health and safety we have decided it is necessary to reschedule St. Bubba's Feast and Sergeantry Trials. After collaboration with the Event Steward and their team, we will be moving our event to March-9 at the Des Moines Activity Center (2045 S 216th St, Des Moines, WA 98198).

The schedule and fees will remain the same. If you have pre-registered and are unable to join us on March-9 at the new location, please email our Gate Steward at Lady.Liadain [at] outlook.com no later than March-2-2019.

We know that many of you have put effort into the event being this coming Saturday.  We appreciate all that has been done, however, the safety of our participants is a primary concern.
