Greetings to the Populace,
Below is the meetings minutes from March Business Meeting.
I do apologize for it's lateness.

*Seneschal Report – Martyn* (Brandon Scheltema – Chapter’s President)

2 officers will be voted on Friday.  Donatello (Branch Marshall) and
Dearbhail. (Rapier Marshall)

2 potential officers will introduce themselves.


Still need/waiting for event ideas
 – As a Barony we need 3 events per year.  Can be just a day event.



I will post ask for my event proposal



We have a new gallant and the 1st sergeant emertis


*Exchequer Report – Sara* (Sara Bonneville)

Paid locker rent and also Church FCS rental space. (6 month)
For Bubba’s Feast, due to snow and event venue change, we did lose money on
the event $436.00

*A & S Report – Sofia *(Linda Hosea)
March – once St Bubba was accomplished – has seen a bit of a breather.

For the Feast of St Bubba, there were at least 11 feast-related
participants in on pre-preparation, day of cooking, clean up, and repacking
of totes. Yeah us!


Three showed up for Fiber/A&S Support night on the 6th


For FCS, Master Martyn conducted the Sergentry testing.  The class on event
stewarding was ready, but there was only a single one on one conversation
on the topic…May try again (depending on demand!)

Sewing Night has been cancelled so far this month, due to family conflicts
and illness (maybe next week – stay tuned!)

Dance Thursday, no count yet…



Events/Activities to come:

FCS program from the 12th of April is hoped to be an information session on
being B&B, details to be announced.

Fiber/A&S Support night: 4/3 …

Dance Classes:             Third Thursday, watch for announcements…

Sewing Nights:             Aurora will update the schedule when she is
ready…

Culinary:                      Tried for a reboot – all still busy and/or
recovering!

FCS program by Master Mir on “Medieval Chivalric Ideals in the SCA” may
happen in May….?

Tablet Weaving             First class will be held on March 31 and April
1, for different time requirements…  We will determine how to proceed after
these first meetings.



*An Tir Chanllenge* is still happening until June 2019. Still time to join
and also get your booklet signed.  Please see Aline for more details.

*Herald/Pursuivant Report – Alarich * (Peter von Groote)

Had 2 new names.  1 Device and 1 badge.

*Archery Report – Tymme* (Tim Geyer)
*** Office seeking applicants for Chief Archer*

Archery is still happening.  We canceled for Feast.



Top 10 archery medallions were handed out at feast, with only Daffyd de
Doake and Wulfwyn Aethelwulfsdottir remaining to be given.



We will be starting Wed practices at some point in April or May.



I've heard that Thrown Weapons has top 10 medallions this year, but have
yet to learn if they will be delivered to branch marshals to be handed out
or how they will be handled.

Is up and running!!! Come throw some weapons!

*Rapier Report – Dearbhail*Practice is fluctuating but numbers are strong
and seeing new faces.

The Super Practice went well on the 10th which was combined with
Heavy Fighters.  No injuries to report.

*Demo* of Auburn School play was cancelled.

Gabri will make new cards for office.

There havent been any recent web site hack attemps.

Change some website content, linked recent newsletter



*Chronicler Report – Emma* (Jennifer Usher)



Chronicler unable to attend meeting.

Jamesredbeard completed the first Newsletter and it is a must see!  Now
available on-line.  Thank you Geoffrey for putting it up.  Jamesredbeard is
currently working on the next issue.

If you have a story to be told or anything you want to promote in the
newsletter – an event, recipe, or a “how-to-article” ..especially since
Tourney season is coming up – any helpful how-to’s can help newcomers or
someone learn a new skill.
*And think full circle!* Your possible how-to article can apply to the An
Tir Apprentice program and help Team Wyewood get more points !!

Queens Rapier Championship Event down in Oregon, the combat was awesome.

Feast of St. Bubba’s was good and well done.  Thank you for everyone
setting up and tearing down quickly.

As mentioned at Bubba’s, We are stepping down. The polling process has
begun, nominations are due to the Exchequer, Sara,  by May 10th.

*Future Events and Other Business*



*Feast of St. Bubba **– Event Report* – Gwir/Aline
A great event.  We did lose money due to snow and event venue change.
A lot of extra involvement and great number of participants.


*June Faire – Dragon’s Laire *June 7th – 9th
Volunteers to run Mundane Gate – Saturday the 8th.
