*Seneschal Report – Liadain, Deputy Bubba running meeting*

1)Quarterly reports to the Kingdom are due
2)Herald Office now accepting Applications
3)With events:
*If you are doing an event that deals with minors, you have to get a
background check.
*Reminder from Curia: If you are an event steward, your event
copy/information has to be in the Kingdom Calendar, contact Kingdom
Calendar Deputy.
4)Baronial Poles… we have raised funds to get longer poles for the
pavilion. If you still would like your name engraved on poles, you still
can for $20.  There will be project days coming up to complete poles.

*Exchequer Report – Sara*

New Kingdom Exchequer was installed at July Coronation.
Quarterly report will be done Sunday/Monday before 7/21 due date.

*Arts& Sciences Report – Sofia*

Fiber/A&S Support Night is persisting through the summer.
HL Aurora’s sewing night is gathering speed on Monday evenings.
Regularly 8 people in attendance.

Wyewood’s participation in the An Tir Apprentice Team Challenge is also
gathering speed.  Our sponsoring Laurel, Magistra Aline will provide a full
report.

Upcoming classes: **August 10th - FCS canceled, class will be rescheduled
** But keep this awesome class in mind!! presented by Sybil ate Leadon:  Anglo
Saxon Riddles.  Bring your creative pencils!  She is putting her -toe?
-thumb? Into the A&S Competition waters, and this is her trial run.  Be
prepared to participate!

Sept 14th, Sofia will be presenting:  Draft materials for a Collegium class
on (Early) Medieval Knitting: How did they do that? No participation or
amusement – just amazement!

*Herald/Pursuivant Report – Avine*

A small amount of consulting has been going on via email/facebook.
One submission is currently at Kingdom Level.

Due to health concerns, I find it necessary to step down early.  A post was
made yesterday for seeking applicants.  I will continue until Pursuivant a
replacement is selected and continue as a deputy to support.

*Archery Report – Tymme*

We have been having regular archery and thrown weapons practices.

I now have access to enter thrown weapons scores should Geoffrey not be
able to for any reason.

I am going to need to buy target faces, and possibly some more Bulldog
repair kits.  To get target faces for a good price, they cost something
around $120 for 100.  I’m not sure if my budget has room for that.

We had a longbow break at a practice, nothing catastrophic, just a
delamination that meant unstringing the bow and not using it anymore.

Practice continues to happen at Kennydale – average about 4 consistent
fighters.

A couple of newcombers attending. Nothing to much more to report, all is
going well and available when questions come about.

April – June Newsletter is complete.
Library – Ameline and Emma need to still connect to retrieve.  Summer
schedules have been the conflict.  Lady Sophia offered to assist if need.

Progress:  Baroness Alessandra heading to Pennsic, Champions and Autumn War.

Baron Evrard will be attending Honey War, Champions and Autumn War.

*Events and Other Business*

Please email Wyewood’s camp coordinator, Peregrina by Tuesday July 31st,
with your tent dimensions including your ropes so she can email the Land

*Wyewood Champions – Event Steward – Martyn*

*August 11th, 2018  ** Coming up *
Look out for emails for volunteer needs:

** Sunday August 5th at 9/10 am – Lawn Care/Prep for Champions all hands on
deck to get the lawn mowed for champions.  It sounds like I have 3 lawn
mowers, if anyone has weed trimmers or other devices to cut down the grass
please bring.

** Friday – August 10th – Storage Unit help
(FCS is cancelled).  If you can help transport event supplies from storage
unit to the event or back, please contact Martyn

*** Saturday – August 11th  -- Day of Champions Event!*Gate Fee: $7 for
members and $12 for non-members. Guests under 18 are free. Lunch is only $5.

Tentative Schedule for Wyewood Champions:
7am volunteers begin set-up.
9am gate opens to public.
10am opening court. Swearing in competitors
10:30 heavy and thrown weapons
11:30 rapier.
12:30-lunch, A&S, archery begins
3pm final rounds of archery
4pm closing court
After closing court - tear down and clean up

All competitors will be expected to declare their intentions to compete at
opening court (10am), and be willing to swear an oath of fealty or service
if they should be victorious (4pm). Competitors are required to be current
SCA members, but do not have to be living in Wyewood to be a champion. We
ask that they shall not be champions in another branch at the same time
without permission of the Baron & Baroness (please email
Wyewood.Coronet at AnTir.org).

*Arts Unframed – Event Steward – TabythaOctober 6th, 2018*All the paper
work is set.  There might be extra costs due to a personnel change at the
Event Site.  Which would consist of a janitorial cost and possible use of
Library space.

Deciding if website will be needed and starting to organize specific ideas
for event.

*Feast of St. Bubba – Event Steward – Gwir   Head Cook – Aline2019*Event
was proposed last business meeting, there is a new location in Auburn.
We now have a head cook, Aline.
