Good evening, Wyewood!

At FCS on Friday, Sofia and I shared details of the Apprentice Team
Challenge happening over the next several months in An Tir. It works thus:

Teams are created and sponsored by a laurel of their apprentices, students,
and other artisans whom they agree to have on their team.

Each member of a team gets a booklet with various categories of activities
in it (ex. Attend Atheneum; Complete an Unfinished Project; Attend a
Class). When you complete the activity, you may ask either your sponsoring
laurel or any laurel present to sign off for you.

Points will be cumulative to the team and the team with the most points at
the end wins.

As sponsoring laurels, our job is to encourage you, help you in your quest,
verify participation, and contribute neat stuff to the winning team gift
basket.

Sofia brought the project to my attention and asked if I'd be willing to
take on any artisan of Wyewood who would like to participate, but otherwise
doesn't have a team. And I said I'd be delighted. I also welcome any other
Laurel of Wyewood who would like to co-sponsor the team with me.

With their Excellencies permission, I'd like to call the team The
Worshipful Company of St. Bubba. (It sounds period).

Details and copies of the booklet are available through Facebook at this
time: https://www.facebook.com/groups/317961015398436/?ref=br_rs

I will also be bringing copies to the next few FCSs. If you would like to
participate on our team, please email me your SCA name and mundane name to
alineswynbroke at gmail.

I look forward to the wonders you will all do!

In Service,
Aline Swynbroke, OL
