Citizens of Wyewood,
Below is the information for an event bid received from Martyn Baxter. Please read over this bid and respond to Their Excellencies and myself with your commentary.

Wyewood Champions!
August 11th, 2018
Location: Associated Energy Systems, S 180th St, Kent WA 98032 (Wyewood’s archery field.)
Gate Fee: $7 for members and $12 for non-members. Under 18 is free. Lunch is only $5.
Schedule for Wyewood Champions:
7am volunteers begin set-up.
9am gate opens to public.
10am opening court. Swearing in competitors
10:30 heavy and thrown weapons
11:30 rapier.
12:30-lunch, A&S, archery begins
3pm final rounds of archery
4pm closing court
All competitors will be expected to declare their intentions to compete at opening court (10am), and be willing to swear an oath of fealty or service if they should be victorious (4pm). Competitors are required to be current SCA members, but do not have to be living in Wyewood to be a champion. They shall not be champions in another branch at the same time without permission of the Baron & Baroness (please email coronets at wyewood.org by Friday if this applies).
Wyewood champions got moved to the 11th to make sure it does not conflict with Seafair and any other baronial champions.

* Heavies: Sir Martin has agreed to marshal
* Rapier: I can probably marshal or Donatello, I still need to figure it out
* Archery: Sent out a request to Tymme “Prodkiller” Lytefelow
* Thrown weapons: Sent out a request to Patrick
* Arts and Science: Margurite creating something your persona would use
* Hospitality: Have not requested help yet
* Silent auction: Have not requested help yet
* Gate: Avine De hert has responded with she can help
Potential issues:
* Needing to get a professional to cut the grass because we do not have the volunteers to do it.
* In case of wild fires, may need to move the date again due to air quality for fighting.
* I need to get make sure I do a lot of advertising to avoid not having enough volunteers for set up and tear down.
Issues fixed:
* Changed the date to avoid seafair and any other conflicts to get higher attendance.
Things to do:
* Create a map to help set up go smoother and have a good idea where everything is laid out.
* Create advertisements on Facebook, email, and hard copies for events. Any advertisement will be sent to the Wyewood group e-mail first.
Financial estimates/cost:
* Port-a-john $200
* Lawn mowing $100
* Thank you tokens $50
* Food for lunch $100
Financial estimates/cost:
* 70 attendees at $7 each = $490
* 40 people purchase lunch at $5 each = $200
