·         We currently only have one event on the calendar for 2018. As a barony, we are required to host three events a year.

·         Balances for 9/21/2017 (checking 8,220.50 + savings 11,729.14 = total 19,949.64)

·         We have no major expenses currently visible through the end of the year.

·         We currently have $ 1,712.20 remaining of our 2017 budget of $ 5,065.

·         Items are being followed through the approval process

·         I am working with Geoffrey on updating the awards listed on the baronial website.

Arts and Sciences

·         A&S continues with no injuries.

·         Last month we had: Largesse Class (2nd Friday of month)-teacher -Kayden- 11 attended; Culinary started up again (project day at Greywolf Den)- teacher Sofia- pasta made from scratch- 4 attended; Scribal- (at Cabana) teacher- Alamanda - ????? attended

·         Newcomers were at Champions, but I have received no emails or facebook communications.

·         Gold key items were sold at Champions, generating $90. We are now down to three boxes of loaner gear.

·         We have an application from Lady Emma

Archery and Thrown Weapons

·         Archery continues to happen.

·         We could use some cardboard, 26” x 26”, plus I need to buy more target faces.  I have a couple Bulldog targets to replace the covers on, so I’ll be scheduling that.

·         Wed practices will be ending Sept 27th.  My thanks to Evrard for handling most of the Wed practices, and to those who stepped in when he found himself unable to be there.

·         Thrown weapons has been happening regularly and is well attended.

Rapier

·         We’ve been having about 11 regular fighters at rapier practice.

Baronage
Alessandra / Evrard


·         We have enjoyed the summer events, and are looking forward to Arts Unframed.

·         The feast season is coming soon and we need largess to share with other branches.

8/26 Champions
Donatello


·         The date change affected the event, but 73 people attended.

·         Event profit was $443.

9/30 Arts Unframed Escarlamonde


·         Site setup begins at 7:15. The event goes from 9-5, site is open 7-6. Event fee is $15  ($5 discount for members), lunch is $5.

·         Volunteers are needed for gate and assisting in the book room.

10/14 Sargeantry


·         Please come to the event to assist with testing – fighters, dancers, etc.

2/17 St Bubba’s
Gwir


·         The kingdom calendar has received the event information so that the online calendar can now be updated. The site has received the contract and deposit.

·         Tymme and Geoffrey are working on creating the website.

·         Seeking a volunteer to run the largess competition.

Armorials
Rasmus


·         Rasmus has a bid/suggestion for more Armorial hangers. About $180. This was approved.


Announcements


·         13 pavilion poles have been reserved and paid for. If you’d like to purchase a pole for the barony, please contact Liadain (lady.liadain at outlook.com<mailto:lady.liadain at outlook.com>)

·         The populace is encouraged to attend Collegium in November and be present for Heinrich’s knighting ceremony.
