[Wyewood] Updates from Sept Crown Financial and Curia meetings

Greetings Wyewood!

I want to share topics that were discussed in Financial and Curia 
meetings this past weekend that will affect the populace.

Due to rising costs of event sites and amenities (especially biffies), 
gate fee's will be going up $5 to $30 US with the member discount 
(making it $25 with proof of current membership). There is no site fee 
for children under the age of 18 at US events, or those under the age of 
19 at Canadian events. This new fee structure will take effect at the 
2018 12th Night in Pasco WA.

There is a fundraising drive going on right now to raise funds for 
Kingdom Award Medallions. There are t-shirts and at least one duffel bag

Soon we will be able to accept debit and charge cards at gate via 
PayPal.  More info coming soon.

By now you will hopefully have heard of the changes to the Kingdom 
Bardic Championship -- moving to be held at Collegium (November) -- and 
the Queen's Rapier Championship -- moving to be held with Kingdom Arts & 
Sciences (March).  These changes were made in the hopes of making things 
better for each of these portions of our Populace and to allow those 
championships to develop more fully.  Attendance at the various events 
will be monitored.

New, hinged, travel Crowns have been crafted and presented to Their 
Majesties along with carry cases that were built using materials from 
the old Thrones.

And speaking of items crafted from the old Thrones, there are many 
wonderful items that will be available at 12th Night during both a live 
and silent auction.  These items include fighter shield tiles (available 
now at $10 each; sales to date have already paid for the new Thrones!), 
bow stands, wax tablets, journal covers, weaving shuttles, rapier 
batons, jewelry boxes, banner poles, and much more.  If you are
