Greetings to Their Excellencies and Seneschal of the Barony of Madrone, please accept this letter as my application for the position of branch Seneschal.



I first participated in our great Society in the summer of 1994 and have been involved ever since. As you can see by my SCA resume, I have held many officer positions within that time. Beyond my official positions in the SCA, I have also assisted in various capacities at events, attended branch social activities, hosted project days, and welcomed new comers.



Some of these positions required a great deal of confidentiality and privately working through differing opinions so that the leadership was united in the administration of the larger group. I am proud to say it was always done with respect to each other with both sides working together to create a solution for everyone.



Outside of the Society I have been a team leader and trainer with local homeschool groups, Cub Scouts of America and Landmark Worldwide. Professionally, I have training and experience as a theatrical stage manager in the California Bay Area and as a Project Manager with IBM in Seattle; I currently work part time as a free-lance computer solutions specialist for small businesses.



If you have any questions, please let me know. I am a bit rusty on SCA Corpora and Kingdom law, but I feel that I have adequate experience and passion for this position.

Redesigned authorization database and migrated all data
Fighter authorization extended from 3 years to 4 requiring changes to the database and forms
Institution of Youth Combat requiring tracking of background checks and yet another addition to the database
Began the use of deputies so that the Principality List Officers could immediately update the database rather than wait to hand off forms to me.
Began tradition of pre-registration for Crown Lists
Created new boards to hold the shield tiles

Worked with Kingdom Chirurgeon and Herald for new pavilions for our  offices
