Greetings all!
This was one of those cloudy that turned into 75 degrees and a great
afternoon to be shooting. Daylight is starting to fade sooner and sooner
and the targets are in the shadows as soon as the sun clears the NAPA
building.
Soon, too soon, we will be back on a Saturday only schedule, sigh.
As you know by now I several of us love to teach archery, especially to new
archers. There is a lot of form they have to get down to be excellent
archers and we watch them for the big errors and encourage them with a tip
here or a pointer there. Saya is a new archer and first I encouraged her
to draw all the way back to get all of the energy out of the bow she
could. Next was to find a starting aim point.."Ok you're hitting high
where are you aiming? Try a little lower, now just a hair lower."
