[Wyewood] Archery Report for 10/30/16

Greetings Wyewood Archers!

This weekend offered the usual variety of weather with Saturday raining but
Sunday was excellent (as in just gray but not threatening) and so six
archers took the line.  Eager to improve their scores for the season on the
last day many arrows and bolts were flung downrange.

For some the end of season could not come soon enough as their equipment
was falling apart.  Tymme "Prodkiller" had his bolt retainer, known as the
"finger" broke off and then later his bowstring failed when a loop came
undone.  On the second he remarked "I should have known it was about to go,
the crossbow started shooting differently!"

This is the last practice of the archery season but there is practice
scheduled for next weekend November 5th with the beginning of the new
season!

Did You Know?
For the 2015-16 season Wyewood submitted 39 averages.  Some shot in all 6
categories.  If you include the York Round it changes to 49.
