[Wyewood] Gate volunteers needed - Twelfth Night 2017

Greetings unto the Populace of Wyewood:
Your Barony is preparing to host the first Kingdom event of the new year, Twelfth Night (January 13-15).  This event presents an outstanding opportunity to showcase Wyewood's legendary hospitality, and there is a great need for all members to step up and participate.  Take inspiration from Baroness Gabrielle, Lord Tymme, and our Archery Champion, Geoffrey of the Reeds, who so recently sat gate at Arts Unframed.  Gate will be open from the start of the event on Friday until sometime Saturday afternoon, with shifts lasting a duration of two hours.  
You say you have never sat gate, or are a little rusty on the process? Stay your fears!  Lady Constantia is holding a gate glass at FCS this Friday to go over the fundamentals of running a good gate.

What: Gate Class - Learn how to be efficient and maintain a proper gate sheet
Where: United Christian Church, 15509 116th Ave SE, Renton, WA
When: Friday, October 28th following the Baronial Business Meeting (which starts ~ 7PM)

Please note that gate staff must have current Society membership status in order to handle SCA funds.  Now is good time to renew your membership (http://sca.org/members/index.html)!
