Greetings Wyewood,
The support Arts Unframed received from the Wyewood Populous was amazing. I'm going to try to recognize as many as I can! I hope Lady Constantia, Lord Constantine, and Lady Alamanda can send out public thank-yous to those who supported their areas, because I did not see each person who was in the book room, at gate, or at pre-cooks.
Lord Constantine and Lady Symonne traveled a great distance from their new home to support us at Gate. Constantine rate gate beautifully with all the numbers adding up correctly and a report sent to me before I had time to blink.
Lady Constantia planned and executed a period lunch for 60 that served 75. No wonder we ran out of chicken soup! I heard lots of people saying wonderful things about the soup. A big thanks to her support team of Lady Sofia and Lady Maura, and the many others who helped with precooks and last-minute chopping, such as Master Robert.
Thanks to Lord Tymme who made a great website and updated it superfast every time I sent new information.
My gratitude to Lady Alamanda, who ran the book sharing area all day and managed distribution of scavenger hunt prizes. She also helped with take down and stayed until I alarmed the building when everyone was cleared out.
Thank you to Lady Liadain, our pick-up and morning teamster. She came early to get the signs up so that Wyewood people would know where to go, and came along on the site visit as well.
Thanks to all who came early to set up - moving tables, hanging armorials, and putting up signs. This time we were totally ready to go at 9:00 because we had so many people helping. This included Baron Evrard, Baroness Alessandra, Miriam, Geoffrey and Debra (sorry, not recalling the new SCA name), Lady Dearbhail, Lady Arabella, and Lord Gabriel. I'm sure there were more but there were too many to catch them all!
I regret I don't have a list of all the people watching books and helping with gate, but I know some of them included Baroness Gabriele, Lady Gwen, and Lady Vashti. Thanks all who supported those activities!
Thanks Lord Donatello who hauled everything out at the end of the day and stayed through till the final walk-through. A big thanks to all those who helped clean up, which I know included Miriam and both Their Excellencies, and a couple of visitors who I could not name, and frankly my head was swimming and it was cleaned up so fast I didn't even realize it was happening. By the time someone asked me "What else can we do?" it was all already done!
My deepest gratitude to all who made this increasingly popular event a rousing success! Let's do it again next year!
In Service,
Esclarmonde
