[Wyewood] Arts Unframed a resounding success!

Arts Unframed was an amazing event!  Thanks to all of you.  It was a
gathering of skillful artists in such a variety of areas.  We had weaving,
spinning, dying, music, pewter, embroidery, shoes, games, illumination and
more!  The library was filled with tomes brought by so many to make it a
trove of knowledge to be shared.

We have an outstanding Event Steward in Dame Esclarmonde (again) and she
has a stupendous team.  The number of people who came early to set up and
stayed late to clean up was heartwarming. A special thanks to Constantia
and Sofia and those who helped prep the lunch.  The hall was filled with
the aroma of hearty soups and breads, and many appetites were sated,
especially ours.
Wyewood truly has volunteering in it's heart and it beats strong and loud!

It was a joy to pass on the Jambe de Lion to Catraoine ni Risteaird (Kathy
McLaughlin), announce those awards from Wyewood Champions, and humbling to
accept the oaths of our officers, retinue, and populace.  We are certain we
are in the best of hands surrounded by those we trust and who inspire us
onward.

Again, huzzah to Dame Esclarmode and her comrades for hosting a gathering
that at it's heart is about sharing what we love individually with as many
as we can.
We look forward to see you next year.
