(copied and forwarded)

To the People of An Tir:

The changing weather has signaled the harvesting of crops, and brings to mind our opportunity to give thanks for the bounties that we in the Barony of Blatha an Oir have enjoyed. We have prospered during this year, and under the governance of Baron Hengist and Baroness Maricka our fields have again sprouted gold. We enjoy peace with our neighbors. Mead flows from the halls of our warriors. It is time to reap what we have sown throughout the year and enjoy the reward of our hard labors.

How you ask? Why, with a TOURNAMENT, of course!

On Sunday, the 25th of October, Blatha an Oir will celebrate the annual Baronesses' Birthday Bash with a grand armored tournament of arms to be held at Wapato Park in Tacoma, Washington at 1:30pm. This tournament shall be fought in the round-robin style, and all manners of weaponry and styles of combat are welcomed. Many prizes will be awarded throughout the tournament and they will include fine wares provided by the artisans of the Barony.

Address:
 Wapato Park
 6500 S. Sheridan
 Tacoma, WA 98408

Questions or comments can be directed to me at the above address, or I can be called at (253) 255-1736 before 9pm.

In Service,

Baron Sir Aleksii Konstantinovich Chernyi
Lord Defender of Blatha An Oir

Greetings,
As many of you know our very own Carla Sophia Bruno has come down with breast cancer again. Because of the medication she is unable to work and since she is unable to work she is very short on her bills.

For this tournament we are asking a donation to enter. You don't have to give one, and no one will look down on you if you don't. We just love this wonderful lady who has given so much, not only to this barony, and the kingdom but to the known world.

She has taught a large amount of lamp workers to work glass. As a matter of fact, she has taught people who have later gone on to become laurels. She is definitely the bead grandma of the kingdom.

Being that she is in such dire straights, and seeing she has done so much for so many, it would be wonderful if you could help. Gather some good karma.

Thank you
Hengist
Baron and warmonger
