Hail and well met,

I, Constantine Trewpeny, beseech the populace of this young barony to hear the noble words of your Baroness.  Both the Coronets and the Crown do much, and thus their gaze cannot be in all places to witness those things worthy of being called upon.  Remember that as inspiration takes you to write a recommendation for another gentle, please write your words with the respect due to Them.  To support your recommendation, examples are beneficial and help make your case.
	* Not so good: "hey, Bubba is a sooper awesome hamster!!!  He's been around for, like, YEARS, and it would be cool if you finally gave him his AoA!"
	* A better approach: "Your Royal Majesties, m'lord Bubba is a noble and dutiful hamster worthy of Your recognition with an Award of Arms.  For many years now, Bubba has held sway within the lands of Wyewood by protecting our good gentles from all who would seek harm, by swooping down to vanquish the belligerent on the field of battle."
For our newer members, the Order of Precedence is a catalog and tool that tracks gentles within our Kingdom with respect to awards, Peerages, and other miscellaneous titles.  Every member of An Tir is assigned a number (or OP), beginning with the King (#1), followed by the Queen (#2), the Kingdom Champion (#3), and goes from there.  An in-depth discussion of the algorithm is beyond the scope of this missive, but generally the higher the armigerous award and the longer you have been in service, the greater your OP.  The OP also allows you, in most cases, to click awards / titles and read a summary about them.  There are many noble, and some quite amusing, things to find out there if you happen upon an idle evening.

If you wish to write a recommendation for a gentle, within or outside this branch, you may use this link for Kingdom level awards: http://www.antir.sca.org/recommendations.php.  Remember, how you write your recommendation reflects honor not only upon the individual you seek to recognize, but yourself as well.  And please, if you send off a recommendation to the Crown, kindly cc Their Excellencies (coronets at wyewood.org) so that they are aware.

Written by my hand, this 19th day of September, Anno Societatis 48,
at my manor of Constantinople in the Barony of Wyewood.

Good and fair Wyewood,

This is a land of artisans, archers, other warriors and many who give
great service.

It is my great wish to see all great works recognized. It is my great
sorrow I have been one set of eyes and I cannot see all the wonderful
and diverse works. I wish to sit at the feet of my beloved queen and
speak to her of my loved in the land.

I cannot do this without you.

Please, let His Excellency Robert and I know of those you wish to see be
known for their service, talent or prowess at baronial court. Wyewood is
creating it's path, if we have not an award for what you petition, you
may be petitioning for the premier award recipient.

Much more over, please, let my beloved Queen and my respected King know
of the work being done quietly and dutifully in Their lands of the Sable
Lion.

Do no assume.. "Oh, they must have..." If you think one of our populace
deserves an award, check the Order of Presidence (The OP) and make sure.
There are some jaw droppers there. SHE doesn't have X? HE never got Y?

The crown and your representatives want to give our thanks. Please,
please ... help us. You give so very much to us. Please, let us give back.

In gratitude to Wyewood,

Gabrielle, Baroness
by your permission, and will of the Sable Lion Throne.

Wyewood- The barony made of awesome, covered in awesome sauce, topped
with ZOMG you are so cool sprinkles
