I know that some Wyewoodians are fuzzy on the concept of a "retinue" -- 
I know I have been!

I found a web page with lots of information drawn from various SCA 
sources about what jobs retinue members might do. It's really 
interesting and might give you a better idea whether serving on the 
retinue is something you're interested in.
