[Wyewood] Autumn War arrives - to the walls!

Hear ye, hear ye!

Wyewood, heed the words of your Baron and Baroness to make ready for war.  Scouts report armies mass both to the north and to the south of our borders, as the Baronies of Aquaterra and Blatha an Oir prepare to settle their differences, not with words, but with blood and steel.  Already Wyewoodians have established a war camp for our troops, and in the days ahead the ranks shall swell with those prepared to expedite Bubba's Will.

Saturday morning, beneath the baronial pavilion and the glorious September sky, Baron Robert and Baroness Gabrielle shall call muster for all those that would serve Wyewood.  Make ready your armor and weapons, carry your needles and cooking pots to camp, take up your bows and spears, and prepare for the battle ahead.  Join in as we unfurl the banner of the Fyrd, the warband of Wyewood, and inspire those seeking to do that which is Right and Just.  


Aye, the Fyrd is in need of your diverse talents.  Wordfame is not won by the application of steel alone; the clever application of artistic skills, the hard-earned knowledge of culinary, and the unerring path of arrows can claim valuable warpoints.  Iron needle, siege cooking, brewing, woodcarving, archery and more account for additional scoring, meaning that the majority of points are earned away from the warfield!  Not sure of your passion, or are not feeling up to competition?  Classes are available as well on a wide number of subjects, and of course, cheering is always welcome.
