<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:tahoma, new york, times, serif;font-size:10pt"><div>Grace:</div><div><br></div><div>The Wye's Mouth is an official communication of the Shire of Wyewood that gets archived at the Kingdom and Society level. The newsletter is read by not only Wyewoodians near and far, but by others that can potentially influence our baronial bid. I request that any future edition of the Wye's Mouth receive review for clarity and factual correctness, either by way of sending it to the Officer List beforehand, or to work in conjunction with your deputy, Master Mir. <br></div><div><br></div><div>I understand that you sent out a request to the list for articles
and reports, but alas, without a deadline, for most it will become a victim
of procrastination. As with most volunteer organizations, success is a
practice in herding cats. The newsletter is not a venue to air frustrations, even if your Seneschal or others do not respond in a timely manner. I deal with five or more emails daily with respect to Seneschal business, so it is not unheard for me to lose track of a thread.</div><div><br></div><div>While the publication of meeting minutes is acceptable content, copy & paste of emails from others without their permission or notification is unacceptable. I recommend that requests for submissions be followed up by a calendar deadline. If contributors are not able to come forward with sufficient materials, the appropriate action is to send notification to the Officer list that your publication is blocked and that the release deadline is in danger of slipping. Officers, you may chime in with your views, but I think a newsletter release on a quarterly schedule is easier for all involved, assuring that enough activity has
occurred to provide ample material for publication.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div><br></div><div>Constantine</div></div></body></html>
